Read The Stickies Before You Get Banned
New rules are in place at the DigitalPoint forums and its a good idea to be familiar with them, otherwise you’ll start to rack up infraction points. mcfox posted a brief synopsis of some of the most violated rules at DP, read it here. Now this brief synopsis is by no means the whole list of rules, so pay attention to all stickies in all forums as its your responsibility to be familiar with the rules and to follow them.

How hard is it to read a few posts to get familiar with the rules? Evidently it must be real hard because I see people everyday breaking the rules constantly. Take a moment to read the stickies located in Suggestions and Feedback and the Buy Sell Trade areas at DP.

If your intent on breaking the rules, you will be banned, personally I don’t care, good riddance to you. If your intent on becoming a quality member with good ethics, then hooray for you and enjoy yourself, I do.

Hello, I started using DP only 2 weeks ago, I love the site and I already made a lot of great contacts and even made a few bucks too. I was following the rules at least and was coming up my 7th day with about 20 posts and then BOOM… with out a warning I got banned for 6 month! I did not have any infraction points, and the e-mail I was banned for was not even a spam… What it was was me helping some one… But the person I think banned me was the MOD who’s ego got bruised because i activated 1000 links to a directory that he was posting more than a few time as free, and before that he was selling them… Now I’m sure you can find fault with may account and find a real reason to ban me but it just does not seem fair to be able to be banned with out having any type of recourse to state your side.
“If your intent on becoming a quality member with good ethics” I was focused on being a good member now there is noting I can do… I have had my brother join to ask for some type of help, I have ask my friends to help but no one gives them or me the time of day… Even in this post you say how ppl are breaking the rules left and right yet what i did does not even come close to their infraction…
Listen I don’t want you to think i just someone complaining just so I can get unbanned… NO! I just want to be dealt with fairly… I read over Stickies, and I can see if I accrued point to get banned then I should be banned but not on my first offense and not with 5 point!
I’m sure this will go on deaf ears and i’ll just get chalked up as some one “intent on breaking the rules”, but what can I do.
